After winning the toss and batting, TAS finished on 8-218 off 50 overs.
Opener Toby Smith (60) and No 3 Cotter Litchfield (57) top-scored for the visitors.
Alasdair Hewitt (3-39 off eight overs) led the way with the ball for Carinya Christian School.
In reply, Carinya were dismissed for 69 in 25 overs.

Carinya No 3 Callum Henry said the side were better than what they showed against TAS.
"We bowled pretty poorly and we fielded pretty poorly," he said.
He added: "The way we played in the first few rounds [of the competition], we're definitely better than that [the effort against TAS]."
