Whitehouse Lane in Tamworth and Higgins Avenue and Rushes Creek Road in Manilla have all been closed to take the number to nine.

Higgins Avenue, low level bridge, Manilla.
Rushes Creek Road, Manilla. Closed 5km outside of Manilla.
Wallamore Road, closed between Evans Street and Kingsford Smith Street.
Duri Dungowan Road, closed between Loomberah Road and Tongues Lane.
Warral Road, near Timbumburi Creek, West Tamworth. Burgmanns Lane, between Goonoo Goonoo Road and Burgess Lane.
Prices Road, Bective. Closed at Hamiltons Lane intersection.
Soliders Settlement Road, Bective. Closed at Prices Road and Warminister Road intersection.
Burgmanns Lane, between Goonoo Goonoo Road and Burgess Lane.
EARLIER
The continual storms around the region mean several roads remain closed today.
At about 3am last night, Tamworth was hit by a storm which lit up the sky, drenched the ground and woke up a number of residents with loud thunder.
The rainfall also closed a few extra roads from the handful that were already shut yesterday.
Roads closed:
- Prices Road, Bective. Closed at Hamiltons Lane intersection. Water over road.
- Soliders Settlement Road, Bective. Closed at Prices Road and Warminister Road intersection.
- Wallamore Road, closed between Evans Street and Kingsford Smith Street.
- Duri Dungowan Road, closed between Loomberah Road and Tongues Lane.
- Warral Road, near Timbumburi Creek, West Tamworth. Major pavement damage has occurred.
- Burgmanns Lane, between Goonoo Goonoo Road and Burgess Lane.
The Tamworth Airport recorded 10.8mm - the majority of that coming in a 40-minute period - while there were reports around East Tamworth of up to 20mm.
Gunnedah Airport got 30.4mm, Armidale had 13mm, Moree 4mm while Inverell missed out.
