The following temporary road closures remain enforced across the Tamworth region due to ongoing rainfall.
New roads open:
Warral Road, near Timbumburi Creek, West Tamworth.
Burgmanns Lane, creek between Goonoo Goonoo Road and Burgess Lane.
Williams Street low-level crossing, Barraba.
Borah Road at Tarpoly Bridge, Upper Manilla (1 x lane open - proceed with caution).
Soldiers Settlement Road, near Oxley Highway at Bective (open with caution).
Roads remained open:
Duri Dungowan Road, between Loomberah Hall and Tongues Lane/Pendene Road intersection.
Osborne Road, Bendemeer.
Roads remaining closed:
Appleby Lane, near Oxley Highway, Bective.
Old Winton Road, near Bective Lane.
Goonan Street, Kingsford Smith Street to Evans Street causeway closed, Westdale.
Wallamore Road, Kingsford Smith Street to Evans Street causeways closed, Westdale.
UPDATE 12PM:
A couple roads have reopened, but many remain closed after storms hit the region over the past few days.
Both Duri Dungowan Road and Osborne Road, Bendemeer have reopened while Goonan Street, which previously wasn't closed, has been shut.
The following roads are closed:
- Bective Lane, Bective
- Borah Road, Upper Manilla
- Burgmanns Lane, Calala
- Goonan Street, Taminda
- Old Winton Road, Winton
- Wallamore Road, Westdale
- Warral Road
- William Street, Barraba
Also, exercise caution due to water/debris on Soldiers Settlement Road, near Oxley Highway at Bective.
UPDATE: 6.30AM
The below road closures - see the 3.45pm update below - are all still in place except for Warral Road which has reopened, according to myroadinfo.com.au.
Caution is also still advised on Soldier Settlement Road, Bective and Osborne Road, Bendemeer due to water and debris.

More roads have been closed around Tamworth due to rainfall over the past few days.
The full list of roads closed are:

- Bective Lane
- Old Winton Road
- Burgmans Lane - creek between Goonoo Goonoo Road and Burgess Lane
- Warral Road
- Wallamore Road - Kingsford Smith Street to Evans Street causeways closed
Water and debris are also affecting traffic at Soldier Settlement Road, Bective and Osborne Road, Bendemeer.
A severe weather warning has also been issued for the region.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and damaging winds in the warning across NSW over the next several hours.
Locations which may be affected include Lismore, Grafton, Armidale, Orange, Tamworth and Wagga Wagga.
EARLIER
A number of roads around the Tamworth region are closed after the weekend's rainfall.
The North West was lashed with heavy downpours with Tamworth receiving 66.4 millimetres of rain in the past three days - 55.6mm of that fell on Sunday.
Bective Lane, Old Winton Road, Burgmans Lane - creek between Goonoo Goonoo Road and Burgess Lane - Warral Road and Wallamore Road - the Kingsford Smith Street to Evans Street causeways - are all closed.
Meanwhile, water and debris are affecting traffic at Soldier Settlement Road, Bective and Osborne Road, Bendemeer.
Roads in Barraba and Manilla that were closed overnight have now been re-opened.
Tamworth Regional Council staff will be checking roads throughout the day and providing updates on the road closures.
Road users are reminded to be careful on the roads and to not take unnecessary risks.
Also, Nowendoc Road, at the top end of Port Stephens Cutting, will be reduced to one lane for roughly three weeks from February 10, in order to do minor road widening works on tight bends.
Traffic control will be in place, there may be minor delays. Please drive with care.
