The reconstruction of Bligh Street - from Marius Street to Piper Street - will begin on Monday, February 3 and is scheduled for completion on February 28.
Extended delays will occur and road users should allow an extra 20 minutes for your journey, or take alternative routes.

Two-way traffic flow will be maintained at all times, by opening parking lanes for traffic.
When travel lanes are completed, traffic will use the travels lanes, while parking lanes are constructed.
There will be no parking along this section of Bligh Street, while construction is in progress.
Also, barriers will be in place in the centre of Bligh Street. There will no through traffic at the North/Carthage Street intersection. There will be left in/left out movements only for North and Carthage Streets.
