A Warialda man has been airlifted to hospital after sustaining serious injuries following a motorbike accident.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to a property at Warialda in response to a report that a 22-year-old man dirt bike rider had been in an accident.
The helicopter was tasked to the scene just after midnight.

According to reports, family members became concerned for the man's welfare when he didn't return from a ride on a property and commenced a search.
He was later located with serious injuries after an accident.
NSW Ambulance paramedics and the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team treated and stabilised him on scene.
The 22-year-old man was then flown through to the Gold Coast University Hospital. He was in a serious condition.
