It was a fitting way to end an incredible year.
Oversby was unstoppable in 2019, setting a new earnings record of $45,168.70 for the season en route to winning his second allround cowboy saddle. He won the title back in 2016, incidentally also setting a new earnings record.
He also topped the standings in the bareback after carrying a staggering $27,000 lead into the finals.
Tamworth cowgirl Anna Crisp was crowned the allround cowgirl after a brilliant finals.
Having already secured the national title in the breakaway roping, she finished runner-up in the aggregate in both the roping and steer undecorating to eclipse 2018 allround champion Katina Matthews' three-and-a-half point lead.
