The festival has reached its halfway mark and, on Tuesday, police said there had been "a number of minor issues", but the majority of the crowd had toed the line.
Oxley Acting Superintendent Kylie Endemi is heading up not only the local force but also the festival policing blitz.
"The high-visibility proactive operation is continuing and that has been successful in terms of policing the festival," she told the Leader.

"Overall, apart from a small number of issues, we've been extremely happy with the behaviour of the crowd."
The festival force has covered all bases with plain-clothes or undercover officers doing the rounds; police on bikes, horseback, buggies and on foot; as well as licensing officers in and around the pubs and clubs; and highway patrol police out on the roads.
Acting Superintendent Endemi said there had been a small number of people detected drink-driving, but not too many alcohol-related incidents.
"We will continue to ensure there is a large number of police and specialist police not only across the festival footprint but also outside it, to make sure everyone can come and enjoy their time and be safe," she said.
"The high-visibility operation we have been running continues, and we will continue to have a strong focus on engagement with the community and our visitors, to deter any antisocial behaviour so that everyone can enjoy their time here."
