SOME of the region's brightest young cricket stars have been selected in the Country Sixers' squads for this month's NSW state cricket challenge.

Tamworth's Harry Lewington, will line up for the Sixers in the under-14 competition, alongside Central North teammates; Sid Harvey, Charlie Walker, Logan Spinks and Oscar Walker, while Clay Hoffman, Blake Scicluna and Clancy McDermott will suit up for the Sixers in the under-13 competition.
For Lewington, the competition will mark the 2018 Tamworth junior player of the year, and former Tamworth representative captain's second state challenge competition in a row.

Meanwhile, Moree's Molly Armstrong will ply her trade in the under-13 women's Sixers side, alongside Armidale's Sophie Parsons and fellow Central North teammate Caoimhe Bray.
The side will also be coached by Central North's Taylah Knight.
The under-13 and under-14 male tournaments will be held in Dubbo from January 20 to January 23, while the under-13 girls state challenge will be held in Wellington from January 20 to January 21.
