The Tamworth Country Music Festival seems to roll around in the blink of an eye.
But before we jump head first into the latest offering of the festival, we always like to take some time to look back on last year's event.
For many, the highlight was Keith Urban.
The country music superstar popped in for a quick visit and played a packed-out show at Tamworth Town Hall.
Even better, it was a drought aid concert and fans were treated to a bumper show.
Now, take a step back in time to last year when Keith Urban played the Tamworth Town Hall.
Keith Urban, fly-in fly-out superstar
All of a sudden, there he was. The Keith Urban.
The air hung thick with anticipation as lucky fans on the airport tarmac greeted the superstar from his private jet. Its years since Urban last visited Tamworth and even longer since he played at the Town Hall.
The intimate show raised funds for farmers in drought, with tickets selling out in minutes for just 20 bucks each.
Huge Keith Urban fan, 12-year-old Nicola Harvey waited patiently out the front of Town Hall, handmade sign held high, for the star to arrive.
I love Keith Urban songs and Ive travelled from Melbourne to see him, she said.
Nicolas mother Janet brought her all the way to Tamworth to sneak a glimpse of Urban, even though they didnt have tickets to his sold out show.
I just said, Lets go to see Keith Urban and hopefully we can see him in Melbourne, she said.
And they werent alone, fans eagerly lined up at Tamworth Town Hall as the sun began to set those who were lucky enough to get tickets wore huge smiles.
Urban chose to hold his concert at Town Hall instead of Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre because its where his journey to fame began.
