A road trip to support farmers' practical and emotional needs will be travelling through north-west NSW and southern Qld soon, including stops in Goondiwindi and Inverell.

The Rapid Relief Team (RRT) will be bringing 1600 tonnes of pellets to help meet livestock needs - but it's the intangibles they will bring that could help just as much.
That's according to RRT spokesman Lester Sharples, who said the visit was about "mates standing with mates".
Farmers can sign up for a one-tonne bag of pellets, but every stop will also feature a free barbecue and barista-made coffee.
Several services and agencies will be on hand in case people want information or support.

RRT is a global group made up of mostly Plymouth Brethren Christian Church volunteers.
The team has visited several locations in the New England North West region, to help with not only drought but also bushfire situations.
Mr Sharples said this venture - called Farmers Community Connect - was meant to be "a feelgood day for the farmers".
"We know it's not much, but it's a small part we can do at the moment," he said.
"It's really a no-brainer for us to lend a helping hand where we can; it's part of our values of care and compassion.
"We're always looking to serve the community in times of need and this is just one way we can do it."
The convoy will be in Goondiwindi on February 13 and Inverell on February 14.
