The Tamworth export scored 10 points and pulled in 10 rebounds but it was his teammate, Bryce Cotton, who inflicted most of the pain on the Kings. The US import had 39 points.
A monster crowd of 11,569 turned out as the top-of-the-table contest quickly turned into a battle between two of the standout guards in the competition. It was Cotton who had the last laugh on Casper Ware when he hit the dagger three for a 13-point lead.

That gave Cotton the season-high in points scored as he delivered in the clutch with 18 final-quarter points, including three triples, a pull-up jumper and a pair of free throws in the last three minutes.
Those heroics saw him take the points in the best individual battle of the season that he had with Ware who himself still produced 33 points for the Kings. But it was Cotton's night on 13/24 shooting from the field and 8/13 from deep to go with four rebounds, three assists and two steals.
