Future Fun already has three wins under his belt from 11 race starts for the season with the winning streak commencing back at the November 7 meeting at Tamworth with a win over the 1980 metre journey and followed that up with a third to Britney Jane from the Greg Coney stables.
Another win on November 28 over the 1980 metres at Tamworth recommenced the wins which was was then followed up with a last start win over the 2360 metre journey, also at Tamworth.
"He is a really honest horse and got into the race nicely" said reinsman Chris Shepherdson with the Mister Feelgood gelding trained by his father Gary, after last week's win.
"The horse just keeps trying and giving his best and that is what he is good at" added Shepherdson.
"He is in a nice patch of form. He had some bad luck before that and its good to see his honest runs finally paying dividends."

Future Fun has drawn the eight barrier in the Jackson Quality Meats Pace (1980m) with Shepherdson also having another runner engaged at the nine race program with Capital Cullect in the Radio 88.9 Tamworth Pace from the two barrier and comes into the race off a last start third to Queens Angel from the Greg Coney stables.
Fellow Narrabri trainer Jarred Hetherington is also looking for a picket fence for his runner Corporal Luna in the North West Harness Racing Association Pace.
A new acquisition to the Hetherington stables the Elsu sired gelding had a first up win for the stables back on November 28 with a mile rate of 1.58.9 for 1980 metres after transferring from the Grant Dixon stables in Queensland.
Corporal Luna followed that with another win last week at Tamworth with a mile rate of 1.58.6 for 1980 metres.
"He (Corporal Luna) did all the work and to be out there racing and to have a broken carrier strap at the 1200, I think there are still some more wins in store for him yet" said trainer Jarred Hetherington after the last win with reinsman Tom Ison handling the reins.
"When Tom couldn't slot in, he moved forward and he knew when to put the pressure on - I was worried when Blue Blazer (Blake Hughes) got the soft run but Tom is driving well and full of confidence. Always handy when someone drives your horses and he is doing a good job and the track is a credit as well there has been some good race times."
Hetherington has the one other runner engaged in Point Oh Five in the opening event - the Odds & Evens Pace with Tom Ison to take both drives.
Corporal Luna, who will be having career start 181 on Thursday afternoon will be joined in the North West Harness Racing Association Pace with another last start win in Queens Angel (Jemma Coney) from the two barrier and Rolamax from the three barrier with Sam Ison retaining the drive.
Ison reflected on last week's win of Rolamax, trained by Neil Kliendienst.
"The first quarter was crazy - they threw out the breaks that hard we were just about to fall over each other so I had to do something" with Ison making a three-wide run 1200 from home around the field to do battle with Jetawayjo (Anthony Varga) in the lead before coming away for a 1.3 metre win.
"I wasn't that confident when Tom (Ison) pulled out (Merry Jasper) - I thought I would have been posted but Tom kept trying for the lead but we finally grabbed hold".
