Nick Kay was again in good form as the Wildcats outplayed South East Melbourne in the second half to record an impressive 108-98 NBL victory at Melbourne Arena on Sunday afternoon.

On Friday night, Kay was immense at both ends of the court as Perth produced the highest-scoring first half in the last 11 years of the NBL competition to knock-off the league-leading Sydney Kings.

The reigning champions knocked down 70 points in the first half, 40 of those in the second quarter, en route to a stunning 96-77 victory at Perth.
Kay, a Tamworth export, finished with 19 points and 13 rebounds.
Against South East Melbourne, Kay racked up 18 points and 11 rebounds.
"Bloody good team - best team in the NBL," Phoenix coach Simon Mitchell said after the second-half turnaround.
Wildcats coach Trevor Gleeson said: "The game was really in the balance and then we got on a bit of a (late) roll offensively."
