Nick Kay was immense at both ends of the court as the Perth Wildcats produced the highest-scoring first half in the last 11 years of the NBL competition to knock-off the league-leading Sydney Kings.

The reigning champions knocked down 70 points in the first half, 40 of those in the second quarter, en route to a stunning 96-77 victory.
In a welcome return to form, Kay was prominent in the first half dominance dropping 14 points and pulling in eight rebounds.
The Tamworth export went on to finish with a third-top 19 points and 13 rebounds.
The Wildcats dominated the rebounding, pulling down 58 to Sydney's 32, and 24 of those were on the offensive end, meaning almost half of all boards at Perth's offensive end were recovered by the home side.
Wildcats coach Trevor Gleeson said it was great to see his team have each others backs.
"The guys were doing a great job of getting each other open looks, setting great screens moving the ball, being aggressive out there. We didn't settle for jump shots against these guys like last time. We actually got in the paint," he said.
"Last week there were times where the players looked disinterested. Here we were active, we were helping each other, we were playing for each other.
"When we do that, we're pretty damn good.
"Now our challenge is to repeat that every time we step onto the court for the next 14 games."
Their next chance will be on Sunday against the third-placed South East Melbourne Phoenix.
