Event organiser Danyle Elsely said the event was a major success, despite being down in numbers from last year.
"It was a really fantastic day and we raised some money for a really good cause," Elsely said.
"Our numbers were a little down from last year, but thanks to the people who came and all of our generous sponsors, we were able to pull off a great fundraising performance."
Elsely said plans for a potential follow up fundraiser were already in the works.
"At the moment, we are looking at organising a super eights cricket fundraising day," he said.
"From the people we have spoken to recently, a cricket day or competition seems to be a really good way to go.
"Either way, we are really grateful for the support we have received this year and are really looking forward to next year's golf day."
Elsely said the day would have made the late Dave Clemson "extremely proud".
"The day is in Dave's honour and I know he'd be really pleased we are helping people battling cancer," he said.
"All of his friends love putting it on and I know his family really love the day too.
"Honestly, we couldn't do it without the help of our 30 sponsors.
"While it's impossible to name them all, I would like to thank our major sponsors; BYO Cellars, Northgate Butchery and Westdale Meats.
"There support was vital and we are very appreciative."
