The Friends of Dave Foundation will be hosting its annual charity golf day to support locals battling cancer.
The nine hole, two-man ambrose competition, starting at 2pm, costs $50 to enter, including lunch, and proceeds will go towards Tamworth local Anthony Alwell, who is currently battling the illness.

Event organiser Danyle Elsely said the event was formed after a popular Tamworth local passed away from cancer.
"We initially started the charity golf day after our mate David Clemson passed away," Elsely said.
"Dave loved golf and we thought playing while raising money to help cure cancer was the perfect way to honour his memory.
"This year we have been very fortunate to have the support of a lot of generous sponsors and we hope we see plenty of people come along for a good day."
Elseley said the annual golf day had been helping local families affected by cancer for several years.
"Hope is something Dave gave to everyone and we hope this day is able to do that for locals who are going though tough times," he said.
"It's a fun day for a worthy cause and I'm sure Dave would be really proud of the good work that comes from it."
Anyone interested in playing is encouraged to register at the Tamworth Pro Shop, or call 6765 9393.
