Batting first, Cameron Milne (52) and Matt Agostino (26) were the only shining lights for Kookaburras, as no other batsman reached double figures.
The bowling efforts of Court House veterans Sam Doubleday (3-20) and Darrin Cameron (5-15) helped restrict Kookaburras to a modest total of 113.

Looking to put the lacklustre effort with the bat behind them, Kookaburras came out firing in the second innings, leaving Court House reeling at 6-61.
Enter Cameron (20) who along with Farran Lamb (40) were able to drag Court House into a first innings lead.
Luke Ellis' 3-28, ensured Court House could not take a big lead into the second day, as they were eventually dismissed for 133.
Milne said Saturday's "first innings could have gone either way".
"Our boys bowled really well," Milne said.
"I think we were a bit unlucky not to have won on first innings."
Trailing Court House by 20 runs, Milne said his side was confident of achieving a positive result.
"All we have to do is do the basics well," he said.
"If we do that, we will be in the game late."
Despite the side's batting woes, Milne said he was confident improvement was not far away.
"That confidence with the bat will come," he said.
"The boys are training well and the more cricket they play, the more confidence they'll have."
