A man has died after a single-vehicle crash north-east of Armidale yesterday.

About 2.30pm on Wednesday, emergency services were called to Rockvale Road after reports of a car accident.
They found a Toyota Corolla sedan had left the road and hit a tree.
The 55-year-old male driver and sole occupant died at the scene.
The crash sparked a grassfire that had to be extinguished by firefighters.
The road was closed for some time while emergency services cleared the area.
Officers from New England Police District established a crime scene and have started investigating the circumstances in the lead-up to the crash on Wednesday afternoon.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
