What time will the race be run?
The race that stops the nation will be run at 3pm, Tuesday 5 November.
The first race runs at 10:50am and the last at 5:15pm.
Here's the race schedule after gates open at Flemington Racecourse at 8:30am.

Where can I watch the race?
Channel Ten will broadcast the race for the first time with coverage starting at 10am. Francesca Cumani will spearhead the coverage with Peter Moody, David Gately, and Michael Felgate calling races. This comes after Channel Ten struck a $100 million deal to buy the rights from Channel Seven.
Plenty of radio stations will broadcast the race, including ABC Grandstand 774 and 3AW.
Weather
Thankfully unlike Saturday's soaking Derby Day, dry conditions are expected for Tuesday with a top of 18 degrees.
How do I hold an office sweep?

Cut up the sweep form up and ask participants to pick out a horse. You can charge them $2 or $5 or whatever price you like for each horse.
Decide how much of the pool of money will go to the first, second and third place-getters and if the person with the horse that runs last also gets a prize
What entertainment will there be at the cup?
While Taylor Swift has pulled out of playing the Melbourne Cup, lots of local talent is lined up to play on the big day.
Perth locals Birds of Tokyo will play from 5:10-6:10.
Melburnian and former Australian Idol finalist Owl Eyes will play from 4:10 till 4:50.
From across the ditch, New Zealand electronic artists Sweet Mix Kids will play from 3:10-4:00pm.
