The UNEMSA club member finished in a time of 17:32 which saw him cross the line exactly three minutes in front of second place-getter Joel Armitage.
From there, the runners came in much closer to each other.

Andrew Smith (21:11) filled the final spot on the podium while the next five runners all finished in under 23 minutes.
In total, 249 people took part in the parkrun which included 13 first timers while there was also 18 new personal bests recorded.
