Beginning the season with a pair of losses, Saturday's winner will stay in touch with the top four, leaving their opponents languishing in last place.
However, like all sides in the competition, the Bulls and Wests will enter Saturday's clash without key players due to representative duties.

Wests will be without all rounder Harrison Kelly, while the Bulls will be without club stalwart Adam Jones.
Both men have been named in the Northern Inland Bolters Regional Bash squad.
Wests captain Shaun Stevenson said the representative games would provide new players a chance "to step up".
"It will test everyone's depth a little bit, so it might be a good chance to give people a crack at first grade," Stevenson said.
"Luckily we have a few guys coming back like (2017-18 competition leading wicket taker) Brock Ridgewell.
"Hopefully those guys can come in a make a big impact for us."
Wests have fallen just short in both of their matches so far this season, first by four wickets against Old Boys in round one and by 12 runs against City United last week.
Meanwhile, the Bulls have suffered losses at the hands of South Tamworth and Old Boys.
"I think we blew a pretty big chance to pick up a win last week," Stevenson said.
"It was disappointing not to get the result we were after last week, especially after starting as well as we did.
"However, despite being winless after two games, I don't think we're too far off the pace.
"Hopefully we can put it all together and get our first win on the board this weekend and not have to chase our tails like we did at the start of last season."
Stevenson said starting well would be key to his side's chances of winning on Saturday.
"Even when you are at full strength it's important to start well and apply that early pressure," he said.
"We will be aiming to form a couple of partnerships at the top of the order and hopefully, have a few guys bat around those blokes.
"If we can do that, we will go a long way towards winning on Saturday."
Saturday's action begins from 1pm at Riverside No.3.
