City on the other hand, have also gone down at the hands of Norths in round one, before rebounding with a win over West Tamworth last weekend.
Souths will be without a host of regular first-grade players due to representative duties.
Newcomer Bryan Warren, Alex McNeill and captain Tom Groth will all miss Saturday's clash after being selected in the Northern Inland Bolters Regional Bash squad.
Kaleb McIlveen, who was also picked for the squad, will also miss the weekend's action after recently suffering a knee injury.
Largely unaffected by the representative games, City will be hoping their young-bowling brigade can once again step up to lead the side to victory.
In round two, young guns Jack McVey (3-35) and Joey Mead (2-25) alongside Anoop Gopalakrishnan (4-38) helped bowl their side to a 12-run victory over West Tamworth.
Saturday's action will begin from 1pm at Riverside Oval No.2.
