The former Pirates player will line up at the No.1 for the Canberra Vikings in Saturday's decider against the Western Force in Perth.
Abra played a vital part in the Vikings' miracle 28-27 semi-final victory over reigning premiers Fijian Drua last Sunday.
"That semi-final win was pretty special," Abra told the Leader.
"We've had a couple of days off and now are getting ready to fly over to Perth on Friday.
"At the moment, I'm just trying to get mentally ready for the grand final and the task at hand."

Playing 49 minutes in the No.1 role in the semi-final, Abra has called the position his own since the Vikings' round four loss to the Force.
"Going over to Perth earlier in the season should really help us prepare for what it's like travelling that far for a game," Abra said.
"It's obviously a little bit tricky with the three-hour time difference, but I'd say it's something we're used to.
"I've also been pretty lucky to start in the same spot consistently throughout the season.
"I feel like I know my role pretty well now and really can't wait to get into it this weekend."
Abra said his side was confident it could pull off an upset win on the road.
"Our set pieces have been really strong lately," he said.
"I think we will have to be really sharp in that area if we want to have any hope of winning.
"In saying that, I'm confident we can do it if everyone plays their role."
Despite being firmly focused on "the task at hand", Abra said he had high future ambitions.
"To be honest, I haven't thought too far ahead," he said.
"Obviously, I want to take my career as far as I can, so Super Rugby is very much in my sights.
"Considering I have been playing with the Canberra Vikings, I'd love to get an opportunity with the Brumbies in Super Rugby.
"We'll just wait and see I guess."
In light of his former club's recent Central North grand final victory, Abra said he was eager to catch up with his former teammates.
"Once all is said and done with the NRC, I'm hoping to come home to Tamworth for a few weeks," he said.
"It would be great to catch up with all of those guys from Pirates as well, that's for sure.
"As well as that, it will be great to be back home, see my family and see what comes in terms of future opportunities."
