From today to Sunday, Get Online Week 2019 encourages businesses and agencies to support people who want to improve their digital skills.
Among the 1000 events Australia-wide, Tamworth people will be able to attend a mentoring session at Jobs Australia, and a virtual road trip and lunch with Tamworth and District Seniors Computer Club.

The mentoring session will be held on Tuesday from 11am to at least 1pm, and spokesman Brad Smith said it would help with almost anything digital-related.
"People can bring their own technology and we can help them with anything from texting their grandchildren, to filling in an application if they're still working, to creating social media platforms," Mr Smith said.
"We can also help with cyber safety, including with online banking and all that jazz."
The session is aimed at the over-50s but anyone is welcome.
The computer club event will be on Friday at 10.30am, taking seniors on "an internet-based road trip [searching] for specific information about a set route and the towns passed through".
Club tutors will be on hand to help with the searches, and prizes will be awarded for completing the trip.

According to Get Online Week founder Good Things Foundation Australia, more than 2.5 million Australians are not online, and another four million have limited digital skills.
National director Jess Wilson said they were vital to have at any age.
"As government and corporate services are increasingly moving online, whether you want to pay a bill, access customer support or book an appointment, you need digital skills," she said.
"Digital literacy is also essential for our country's economic prosperity, for people seeking employment, or staying connected to loved ones overseas."
