Having taken out last season's decider in a washed-out grand final, the club has new inclusions to make the side even more competitive this year, he said.
"We have managed to pick up a few new guys like Hayden Baker from Gunnedah, but we will also welcome back a few guys like Will Gel and Josh Smith this season as well," he said.
"We've been training for a little while now and I think we are looking pretty good this season."

Middlebrook said he expected his side's "usual suspects" to play well, but also predicted big things from a rising star.
"I think our more experienced guys like Aaron Hazlewood will step up again this season," he said.
"But I think our young guys like Adam McGuirk and Landen Price should really step up as well. Especially Landen: he's had a great off-season and I'm really expecting him to have a breakout season."
Old Boys will begin their 2019-2020 campaign on Saturday against last year's grand finalists West Tamworth.
"Wests were pretty vocal after last year's grand final was washed out," Middlebrook said.
"They had a bit to say, so we are really looking forward to playing them first up."
