Q and A with coach Justin Pay
How would you rate your season out of 10?
7/10.
We had a great regular season with only one loss and the minor premiership. Unfortunately, our finals campaign was a failure.
In your opinion, who were your top three players in 2019?
Hayden Chappel, Tyler Desborough and Josh Desborough. All three guys gave 100 per cent effort every time they pulled on the Saints jumper. Every one of them put on a match winning performance throughout the year and they were consistent.

What was the highlight of 2019?
Completing the regular season as minor premiers.
Where does the team need to improve heading into 2020?
Injuries had a significant impact on the back end of our season, so developing depth will be important moving forward.
Will you be coaching again next year?
No.
