Two men threatened a service station worker with a knife in a frightening early-morning attack in Narrabri today.

Police are investigating after the incident about 4.40am at the Newell Highway business, in which the men held the employee at knifepoint.
The thieves demanded money and cigarettes, but the employee was not harmed.
The men left the station with a cash and cigarettes and were last seen running north through bushland towards Kelvin Vickery Avenue.
