The schools Years 7/8 and 9/10 teams will take to the courts at the Genea Netball Centre against the best from the catholic, public and private school systems after winning the regional finals in Inverell last month.
Prior to that they took out the qualifying tournament in Armidale in March.
Putting them among the top 16 sides in the state, it has been an amazing effort from the girls with this year the first time that McCarthy has entered teams in the state-wide competition.
Melissa Bolsom coaches the Year 7/8 team and said it will be an inspiring experience for the girls.
Last year she took a side from St Michael's Manilla down to contest the finals of the primary division.
"It was a great experience," she said.
She added: "It gives the country kids a great insight into what can happen if they want to continue their netball journey down in Sydney". Players from the Swifts and/or Giants are also usually in attendance.

Two of the McCarthy 7/8 side - Isabella Bolsom and Jayda Constable - experienced the finals last year as part of the St Michael's side.
"They know what it's like and have been talking it up to the girls and getting them excited," Bolsom said.
She described the finals as "the unknown" but believes they will "go alright".
"I've seen them at rep level and I think they'll be able to hold their own," she said.
"Having played rep together the last couple of years has helped them gel."
The majority of the side play with Tamworth in the 12/13s division, and all of them are backing up from success with their respective sides in the weekend's local Tamworth grand finals.
