JAKE McManus has completed a near perfect season after being named the North Tamworth Bears club champion.

One of the Bears' most consistent performers during their premiership-winning season, McManus was honoured with the JJ Withers club champion award at the club's annual presentation night.
As well as the evening's top gong, McManus also claimed the Bears' best forward award.

The joy did not stop there for McManus, as his partner Kim Resch took out the club's highest point scorer award and highest try scorer award.
In the other first grade awards, Andrew Moodie was named the side's best back, while Nic Dobson cleaned up the remainder of the awards.
After a delayed start to the season, Dobson was voted by his peers as the players player and also took out the first grade best and fairest award.
Shaq Ervine was named the club's reserve grade best and fairest, while Brayden Reid took home the under-18 best and fairest award.
