For three hours the Mitchell Highway between Trangie and Nevertire was closed.
Three vehicles believed to have been involved in a collision on the highway were badly damaged but the occupants escaped without any serious injury.
Only 2mm of rain fell in Dubbo at the weekend. Wellington received 6.4mm while Trangie received 0.4mm.
