The 50-club member came home in a time of 17:19 to beat out Joshua McRae who crossed the line less than half a minute after Bowd.
Third place was filled by first-timer Max Peet.
Peet came home in a time of 19:31 to just pip a couple running rivals in Paul Carrigan and Dashiel Urquhart.
