Beginning at Scully Park on Saturday, ladder leaders and two-time reigning premiers North Companions will square off against North Armidale in the major semi-final, with the winner going straight into the grand final on September 21.
Both sides have dominated this season having recorded 15 and 14 wins respectively, while only losing two games apiece.

The action continues on Sunday with South Armidale set to do battle with Tamworth FC in the first semi-final.
FC finished three points ahead of the Scorpions and will be looking to progress through to the preliminary final.
Despite finishing in the lower position, Souths will benefit from playing the game at their home ground, with the game proceeding the first grade semi-final.
FC have won two of their three regular season games against the Scorpions this season, including a 3-0 win in round 19.
