ONE man has been taken to hospital after his car rolled near Tamworth on Friday afternoon.

Police said the 53-year-old was trapped in the wreckage of his vehicle after it left Appleby Road and rolled, near Bective.
The crash happened about 2pm and has shut the road, about 800m north of the Oxley Highway.
Police, paramedics and Ambulance rescue personnel were deployed to the scene after reports the man was trapped.

Crews managed to free the man. He was taken by ambulance to Tamworth hospital.
His injuries and condition are unknown, police said.
Officers said the road remains closed and investigations are continuing.
Earlier this week, a truck driver walked away unscathed after his stock carrier crashed on the same road.
The empty semi-trailer was travelling along Appleby Lane on Monday when it lost control, left the road and hit an embankment, crashing through a fence.
