Late last year Mr Binnie, and his wife Mindi's, lives were turned upside down when their three-year-old daughter Victoria was diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG) - a highly aggressive and difficult-to-treat brain stem cancer, with an average survival of about 10 months.
Upon hearing the shocking news, Mr Turner, who met Mr Binnie while gracing the rugby fields for the Newcastle Uni Seahorses, decided to put on the 80's themed golf fundraiser, and is asking the Tamworth community to get on board.

"Binnie is a champion bloke in a terrible position. Tori is one week older than my daughter, and I can't imagine what that would be like," Mr Turner said.
"#Teamtori has been created to try and help out the family in anyway possible, and we can have a great day on the course while we are at it."
Mr Turner is now calling on a big crowd to sign up for the three player ambrose, as well as any businesses, or individuals, who can sponsor a hole for $50 each.
The golf day is on September 13, starting at 12.30pm. To register contact aaronturner1@hotmail.com
Anyone who can't make the golf day can still chip in via Victoria's Go Fund Me page.
