The former Tamworth star and 2014 Commonwealth Games gold medallist will later this month get a first hand look at the facility for the 2020 Tokyo games after being named in the Hockeyroos squad for the official Tokyo Olympics test event.
It follows the 29-year old defender's recall for the Pacific leg of the FIH Pro League earlier this year after taking a break from the sport.
Jenner is one of only two players from outside the squad's base in Perth named in the 16-strong team, which also includes Armidale's Georgina Morgan, and was surprised to learn of her selection.
"I didn't actually know there was a tour happening so soon," she said.
"I knew I was going over to Perth for a week to train but I didn't know the test event was on the cards."
The tournament, which gets underway on Saturday, will pit the world number two ranked Hockeyroos against China, India and hosts Japan and be a valuable hit-out for next month's Olympic qualifiers against New Zealand in Rockhampton.
Jenner, who coach Paul Gaudoin described as "a strong and smart defender", isn't reading too much into her selection as far as her Tokyo prospects.
"I think the selection is more about giving everyone an opportunity, and seeing where everyone's at," she said.
That's not to say the thought of going to another Olympics isn't a tantalising one. It is. But after being out of the national set-up for almost four years, the 2012 Olympian is "just taking it as it comes".

"I'm just in the development squad at the moment and fulfilling my requirements there," she said.
"Whatever happens, happens."
She said it was exciting to get the opportunity to pull on the green and gold again in Argentina, and conceded there were a few nerves before that first game.
"I was a bit nervous before I started to play because it is a bit of an unknown," she said.
"But once I got out there it was just like before."
Part of a series of 'Ready Steady Tokyo' events, the Tokyo tournament will be the first played at the newly-completed venue.
Jenner said it will be good to see how they are progressing with just under a year until the flame is lit.
