The name Agquip is synonymous with steak sandwiches, but this year a new player is throwing his hat in the ring, hoping to wow the crowd with free 'lamb lollipops', with an Olympic twist.

While Daniel McCulloch will be an old face at next week's field days, he has recently started a new venture with McCulloch Agencies, who are shouting the crowd 1000 lamb chops, hot off the bbq.
"We want to combat the Agquip steak sandwich," he said.
"We have got some of the best sheep breeding country in the world here in the New England, so we want to promote the lamb industry."
On top of the chops the McCulloch Agencies stand (1-19) will have animal nutritionists, seed stock producers, people that have built feedlots and a feedlot display, as well as people talking genetics and all things sheep industry."

While sheep and lamb has never been off the menu, the stock and station agent is expecting to see the industry significantly grow, once the drought finally breaks.
"It is a cliched saying, but Australia was built on the sheep's back, and it is still the backbone of Australian agriculture," Mr McCulloch said.
"When this drought breaks there will be a big comeback to sheep - because there is a quicker turnover people will be able to get back on their feet quicker - we can see a bright future in sheep and lamb."
On the grill will be former Olympic sharp shooter, turned realtor George Barton, who is confident he can turn his "spaghetti in the microwave prowess" to lamb chops, and keep up with a hungry crowd.
The agency will also be donating all commissions from the Agquip lamb show to the Westpac Rescue Chopper.
