And the source of his displeasure is a lingering issue: a lack of finishing polish.
The reigning premiers' failure to score more goals has long puzzled him, given that his charges have no such issue at training.
Bartlett said it was time his players "stop talking about it - we've just got to do it".
"I don't know if we're trying too hard or not [enough]," he said.
"Like I said, it's working at training but it doesn't seem to be working in the game."

FC - who play sixth-placed Demon Knights in Armidale on Saturday - have scored 38 goals and conceded 16 this season.
Second-placed North Armidale and third-placed South Armidale have netted 45 and 58 times, respectively, while conceding 16 and 26 goals.
Bartlett said: "We're creating untold chances and we're just not putting them away.
"I don't know: it will either come or we'll end up getting done - I'm not sure."
"The things we're doing with the goal-scoring are all working at training," he added.
Bartlett is hopeful his players will make the necessary adjustments and start scoring more goals.
His No.1 strike weapon, Kurt Barrow, is the Premier League's third-highest goal-scorer this season with 12. The side's next best scorer, Cameron Potter, has five.
