BOGGABRI Rugby League Club will celebrate the erection of its new scoreboard when it hosts Gunnedah in Saturday's Boyde Campbell Cup clash at Jubilee Oval.

It's also Old Boys Day for the Kangaroos as they prepare for their final home game of the season against their "big brother".
Boggabri president Greg Haire is ready for a massive day that will start with and under-13 game between Narrabri and Gunnedah at 11am, flowing into league tag and second-grade games between Boggabri and Gunnedah and culminating with the 2.30pm kickoff to the first-grade fixture.
"It's a big day and a good day," Haire said of what will also be a sad day, remembering the young and short life of Boyde Campbell.
"Boyde played for us and Gunnedah, played with us from the 13 and 14s and then went back to Gunnedah in 2017 and played with his cousins there too.
"He was a great young bloke. Played hard and tough, loved getting out in the middle with the big guys. He might have only been 80kg but he was tough."

His 2017 death was a blow to all and is now celebrated by both clubs with the annual Boyde Campbell Cup match.
It's been a good season for the Roos, on and off the field.
The small town has played above its weight in Group 4, and while it sits last on the first-grade ladder, it could have easily been jousting for a spot in the semi-finals.
"We've lost three games by two points, lost to Gunnedah by four and Werris Creek by eight after leading both," Haire said.
"We've just got to learn how to win."
He hopes the Roos can upset the Bulldogs and continue building for next season.
At the conclusion of the game people will head to the Boggabri RSL Club for the post-match presentations and an auction.
The Roos have a number of items to be auctioned, with 25 per cent of the proceeds going to Beyond Blue and 75 per cent of the money to Boyde's partner, Erin, and their two young boys.
In other matches this round, Dungowan host Werris Creek on Saturday and Narrabri travel to Kootingal-Moonbi.
