Crews from Aberdeen and Muswellbrook were called to the Sowerby Street about 8pm, discovering smoke billowing from the property on Monday night.
Firefighters worked to knock down the blaze and and prevent its spread through the property.
A search confirmed no-one was inside the property.
Separately, Fire and Rescue NSW has urged caution using heaters during the winter months.
