The students gave their opponents a schooling in the opening half with scintillating attack.
Robb dominated the opening 40 minutes, with every touch of the ball testing, and breaking through, the Tamworth defence.
Constant line breaks, chip-chases, offloads, cage-rattling tackles and more kept the crowd at Moran Oval entertained as Robb demonstrated why they finished in top spot on the New England ladder.
Tries to James Gavin, Jack Barham, Lawson Muir and Max Manson saw them rocket out to a 34-14 lead at half-time, Tamworth's second try on the siren flattering the visiting side.
The second stanza saw Robb's defence tested time and time again with Tamworth edging closer to their tally but when the students managed to re-gain possession, they made the most of it.
After bone rattling tackles which could be heard from the grand stand, Clarry Pratten was eventually rewarded with a five-pointer before Charlie Steele-Park sealed the 42-33 win late in the match.
Robb co-coach Sam Ditchfield applauded his side's first-half effort.
"We controlled the ball well in the first-half and played well in the first-half ," he said.
"But full credit to Tamworth, they came back in the second-half and controlled the pill and our blokes had to work pretty hard."
Of their second-half, co-coach Dave McCathie was happy with how Robb played when they had the football.
"We had to tackle, tackle and tackle and we couldn't get a lot of momentum," he said.
"We scored two tries with just a little bit of momentum, we just couldn't get it all the time because of the pressure Tamworth put on.
"We are happy to win."
