The club is one of 22 local organisations in the hunt for a My Community Project, asking the public to vote for their $100,000 bid to make the club, and courts, wheelchair friendly and all inclusive.
Part of the renovations would also open the clubhouse up to enable a weekly table tennis competition.
Head coach Mitch Power said the project is all about social inclusion.
"The clubhouse, and amenities, need to become more accessible, as well as the courts," he said.
"At the moment the wheelchairs can access the courts and play here, but they can't then utilise the clubhouse and facilities, and they have to use the back gate to get in.
"To make it more open and more accessible, and to open a great sport up to more people is the goal."

While the club has pinned its hopes on the My Community Project grant, the plan has been a few years in the making, with all options on the table.
"It will happen eventually anyway, but we need to try and get a grant or some funding to get it started," Mr Power said.
"We want all members, friends of members, past members and anyone interested in tennis, table tennis and inclusive sports to jump online and give us a vote."
The club is also planning on becoming "the region's first table tennis complex", with the renovations meaning the clubhouse could hold several games at once inside.
"I think there are a lot of people out in the community that play and love table tennis," Mr Power said.
"We have had a lot of early interest in it, so to be able to offer table tennis as a competitive and social sport would be really good."
The state government's My Community Project scheme will see grants of up to $260,000 distributed across all 93 NSW electorates, with each member of the public asked to vote for their preferred project. Voting closes August 15.
