AgQuip is continuing to defy the skies, once again expecting bumper crowds to pour through the gates on August 20, with a record amount of over 800 exhibitors, and 3000 companies represented on site.

Australia's largest field days have catered to crowds in excess of 100,000 in recent years, and this year is expected to be no different, with Gunnedah's accommodation already at capacity, and bookings continuing to spill into neighbouring towns across the region.
Rural Events manager Kate Nugent has labelled the support shown by the broader agricultural industry as "just amazing."
"AgQuip has risen above and beyond - it is as big as it has ever been and that is a testimony to Australian industry, and a testimony to our agricultural companies from near and far - it has become emotional."

What will be different this year is the establishment of a Rural Relief Precinct, where 16 individual stalls will offer information, services and support for all things drought.
"The support is there - it is real, the precinct will be there for farmers and families to find out what help is available, and staff to help apply for it then and there," Mrs Nugent said.
This year will also see an all new Agriculture, Innovation and Marketing (AIM) centre, which will have back to back workshops, seminar and presentations covering hot topics, new products, sustainability, smart farming, mental and physical health and everything else.
"The power of AgQuip is that we have all the brands, all the support, all the information, and over 100 new companies coming on site to display for the first time - and it's all free," Mrs Nugent said.
"Visitors can walk in to a massive agri-supermarket and find products and information on everything and anything - as well as a real sense of community."
