The Westpac Rescue Helicopter is transporting a man from Inverell to the Tamworth Base Hospital after a two-vehicle collision earlier this morning on Bundarra Road near Inverell.

The 27-year-old man was trapped in the vehicle for a period of time before being released by emergency services.
The man was stabilised at the scene by paramedics and the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team.
He was then flown direct to the Tamworth Base Hospital suffering lower leg injuries.
Another person was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Sergeant Warwick Laing said police were called to the Staggs Lane intersection of Bundarra Round at around 6am.
"Police are still there currently investigating. Two people have been conveyed to hospital," he said.
