The home side, playing in front of a packed Ladies Day crowd at the Gunnedah Rugby Park, rose to the occasion, taking out the first game 24-0.
Maddy Collison starred in the Red Devils' first victory, scoring two quick tries.
Sarah Stewart and Torika Nadruku scored the home side's other two tries in the first game.

Becky Smyth then wasted little time getting Gunnedah off to a flying start in the second game, scoring a try in the opening minute.
Stewart and Nadruku followed up, making it two tries each for the afternoon, before Kathleen O'Donnell capped off the 22-0 second-game victory.
The wins see the Red Devils cement their place atop the Central North women's sevens ladder with 79 points.
The ladder leaders are now 16 points clear of Pirates in second place and 17 points clear of the Narrabri Blue Boars in third.
Inverell rounds out the top four with 52 points ahead of the Moree Bulls in fifth, Quirindi in sixth and Barraba in seventh.
