More than 170 people are expected to flock to the club for its annual ladies day function, which this year will help support Breast Cancer Network Australia and Serendipity.
The day will feature raffles, a charity auction and live entertainment with proceeds going toward the worthy causes.
Pirates member Jody Kent said the causes were "close to the heart".
"In recent years, we have known some mothers connected to the club, who have been impacted by cancer," Kent told the Leader.
"It's something that has impacted everybody at some stage or another and that's why we decided to dedicate this year's event to raising funds to support those causes."
Kent said the committee had been overwhelmed by support for this year's event.
"We have already had about 170 pre-sale tickets sold, which has blown us away," she said.
"As well as that, we have had more than $6000 in prizes donated for our raffles and charity auction.
"It's for a good cause and honestly, the support has just been unbelievable."
As well as raffles, live entertainment and games, the function will culminate with a charity auction, which will see original pieces by artist Tony La Chiusa up for bids.
"The pieces that are up for auction are just fantastic," Kent said.
"Hopefully, they will attract some generous bids and really go a long way to supporting these worthy causes."
Kent said the committee was hopeful tickets to the function would still be available on the day.
"At this point I think there will be some tickets remaining," she said. "However, it all depends on how many are snapped up during the pre-sale period. At this rate it is looking like it is going to be a fantastic day for our club."
As for Saturday's games, Kent said she hoped the day would add "extra motivation" for the players.
"It should be a really big day, so hopefully we get some good results on the field as well as off it," she said.
