The event will be put on by the newly formed Tamworth Young Farmers and Westpac.
"Walk through what banks want to see in terms of finance and business planning when it comes to buying a property," Tamworth Young Farmers' Alex Long said.
"We'll also talk about leasing and shared farming.
"At our age, it's not an easy thing to go buy a property, so it's important to cover leasing and shared farming, because that's a way to step in to the industry without needing a huge amount of money to buy a rural property."
Ms Long said the free event would be "hugely useful" for anyone with an interest in the agriculture industry.
"For a lot of people, unless you're in a farming family, it can be really hard to break in, so we're trying to help with that," she said.
"Hopefully we give people the right mindset about how to enter the industry and what they need behind them."
The event will be held at the Tamworth Services Club from 6pm to 9pm.
It will be catered and the State of Origin will be on after. For more information visit the Tamworth Young Farmers Facebook page.
