Tamworth Thunderbolts coach John Ireland will be looking for a consistent four quarter performance from his side when they embark on their first, and only, double header of the season this weekend.

After facing the Hawkesbury Jets on Saturday night, the Thunderbolts will back up at 10am on Sunday morning against the Central Coast Waves.
Both are games they should win. They thrashed the Waves 104-49 only last weekend and took care of the Jets with similar authority earlier in the season.
But Ireland, at least against the Jets, is expecting a much tougher contest this time round.
"Hawkesbury when they came up here only travelled with seven and left some of their better players at home," he said.
The added strength, along with a bit more depth, will make them a lot more threatening offensively.
They know they can't afford to take the Waves lightly either, Ireland using the example of Springwood, who had only won the one game, knocking off [then] third-placed St George last weekend.

"For us regardless of which team we're playing we need to show up and play four quarters of consistent basketball," Ireland said.
As comprehensive as the performances looks against the Waves, it was really only on the back of the second and fourth quarters that the margin was as big as it was. The Thunderbolts only won the first quarter by five and the third by four.
"It's getting that consistent application at both ends of the court," he said.
In the back of his mind too is that they have the Hills Hornets in a top of the table clash the following weekend.
