Police are investigating a fatal crash in near Glen Innes last night, in which a woman died and two others were seriously hurt.

Emergency services were called to the New England Highway, 20km north of the town, after reports of a vehicle on fire about 7.30pm.
New England Police District officers found a Hyundai Tucson had left the road and rolled several times before catching fire.
A 34-year-old female front seat passenger died as a result of the crash.
A 22-year-old man, who had been driving, suffered severe burns to his legs and hands, as well as internal injuries.
A 10-year-old girl in the back seat suffered serious internal injuries.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service took both the latter occupants of the car to John Hunter Hospital for treatment.
They have reportedly been stabilised, but are in a serious condition.
The trio are reportedly from Newcastle and were heading to Queensland along the New England Highway.
The highway was closed southbound for about two hours and a crime scene was established, while detectives and a police forensics team.
Fire and Rescue NSW and the Rural Fire service extinguished a grass fire that had been ignited, but there was no fuel spill.
NSW Ambulance and the Volunteer Rescue Association also assisted at the scene.
