The Upper Hunter player won the prize in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw on Thursday and comes just days after a Tamworth couple also won lotto.
Sharing his joy with a NSW Lotteries official this morning, the winner revealed the win had come at a good time.

"It's just unbelievable timing," he declared.
"The last six months have been a bit tough and we've been struggling a bit.
"We've been on level six water restrictions for months and the whole town has been doing it tough.
"My wife kept telling me not to get tickets but I always bought them because I wanted to dream about winning.
"I think it was fate that I bought this ticket because of the crazy timing of things."
When asked how he planned to enjoy his $200,000 Lucky Lotteries windfall, the winner confessed it would give them a bit of breathing room.
"It will go straight towards paying off the mortgage," he exclaimed.
"It will give us a chance to have a bit of a breather too."
