Up against some of the best players from around the state and Queensland, the Gunnedah side will be competing in E grade and looking to finish with a winning record.
Giants' regular Brodie Cleal said the carnival was a highlight on the region's baseball calendar.
"This year we will have about three or four of our weekly players taking part in the carnival and a lot of guys coming back who have played for the Giants in the past," Cleal told the Namoi Valley Independent.
"As far as I know, the team will be in E grade and should hopefully pick up a few wins."

"I am playing in A grade with Tamworth and a few of our other regular players will be playing with sides they used to play for," Cleal said.
"There is a bit of an openness to the whole carnival.
"For example, while a few of us regular Gunnedah players are playing with different teams, there will be a few Tamworth Warriors players suiting up for the Giants during the carnival."
Cleal said the chance to play in different teams was a real highlight of the annual carnival.
"It does give you a chance to play with guys you'd normally be playing against," he said.
"I know the guys are all really looking forward to it and it should be a lot of fun."
